For the Mask assignment, I was inspired by typical Dutch stereotypes. Many people say that we only eat cheese, and therefore we have received the nickname: 'kaaskop' (cheesehead). I personally do identify myself as Dutch, but I almost never eat cheese. On the contrary, I eat mostly plant-based. With this mask, I want to show both the stereotypical Dutch diet, represented by the cheese and my own diet, which I made visible by the plants that grow out of the cheese. 

With cardboard, tape, and paint I created the shape of the mask. Later I cut out rounds (to resemble cheese) and inserted plants.
