Parking sign

In the case of this parking sign, the user would we people who are searching for the parking/ticket machine. People and machines are connected to this interface. When we park we need to have a parking ticket, so this sign will help us find the way and leads us to the machine.
The interface informs people about where the parking machine is placed. The users are activated by the sign to go somewhere.
In this case, the interaction is quite limited. People can only look at the sign and read information from it, but further, there isn’t any interaction.
The sign is very static, hard, made of metal and plastic. The sign is publicly shown in a street, so many people have access to it.

AirPods

We, humans, are the users of air pods. We use them as earphones.
The air pods and people are connected by the interface.
The user wears the AirPods and uses them to listen to music. This can make us feel something, maybe an emotion like happiness. It is also an experience as we can talk to people via these air pods.
We as users, interact with the interface by putting them into our ears and listen to sounds. We can be connected to other people via these air pods. Airpods are small, technical gadgets. They can transmit sounds.

QR code On the information board, there is placed a QR code. This code leads to the website of the Oude Plantage, a park which the sign informs. With this QR code, the sign in the park connects to phone users, since they can scan the code and then continue reading on their device. This, for example, makes it more approachable for younger people to read about the park, rather than reading it from a sign or booklet. However, to be able to see this you have to walk around in the park, so that specifies the audience. A QR code is build of from small black an white blocks which together form a code thatcan be scanned.
